Popular poet visits Cuckoo for a day of pure poetry!
Children's poet, Joshua Seigal, delighted children across the school with a day dedicated to the writing and performance of poems.
Joshua Seigal is an award-winning poet, performer and educator who uses poetry to develop literacy skills and inspire confidence and creativity in communication. He has worked in hundreds of schools, nurseries, libraries, theatres and festivals around the country, and has poems published in numerous anthologies
24 Cuckoo classes took part in the day, which involved the children writing their own poems.
