Heron Hall launches new parents group
More than 60 parents signed up for the new ‘Friends & Family of Heron Hall Academy’ group, launched on Wednesday at the Year 7 parents’ consultation.
The group, established by headteacher Arthur Barzey and Thalia Zindilis, will help to support all aspects of life in the school, through fundraising and many other activities.
Thalia said: “We think this is a great way to create an active social network for parents and carers.
“The Friends and Family of Heron Hall Academy will work closely with the school throughout each academic year.
The group will promote a positive and welcoming environment for new parents and families as their children come to Heron Hall.”
