Top charity award for Heron students
Year 11 students Elle, Josh and Mo received special awards this week from the charity Tender at a ceremony in London Bridge, hosted by well known tv and film actress Olivia Colman.
From a network of over 2000 young people, teachers and youth workers in London, Elle, Josh and Mo were chosen to be honoured for their services to the charity and for promoting healthy relationships. The charity highlighted their outstanding campaigning work to prevent violence against women.
Elle has also been invited to join the charity’s youth board, which meets every month to campaign on raising awareness about young people enjoying healthy relationships.
