The great big Read Aloud event
Thank you to everyone who supported our latest Read Aloud event!
Over 90 parents/carers and their children attended - with great feedback from everyone telling us it was extremely useful.
All the children gathered at the front of the hall for story time with Ms Gibson. They used props to read Handa’s Surprise with all the kids interacting with the story.
Zubair (pictured), read aloud to the whole event, a section of the book he’s currently reading.
The children created their own bookmarks, coloured in pictures and took part in a mini book swap while the parents gathered valuable information on how to support their child with reading.
