Year 5 explore the solar system
Did you know one millions Earths cold fit inside the sun – and the sun is considered an average-size star?
The Year5’s half term project involved a series of challenges. They had a choice of four tasks, two written, two creative with a written element. The aim was to encourage home learning on their new Science topic; The Big Bang.

Year 5 Teacher Miss Botham added,
“Amazing work from all the Year 5s for their half term projects. They got to use both writing and creative skills while learning about The Big Bang. They will further develop this throughout the rest of the term through their English, Science and Art & Design lessons, which will continue this theme until Christmas!”
