Heron Hall reach the finals for Secondary School of the Year
We are extremely proud of our secondary school Heron Hall Academy for making it through to the finals of the Secondary school of the Year competition.
The prestigious ‘Pearson Teaching Awards, which have been running for 25 years, receive hundreds of entries every year, so this is a truly brilliant achievement.
The school has made huge progress in just a few years. It started in a group of portacabins on the Cuckoo Hall site and began an incredible journey that has led to national recognition.
Judging for the finals will take place on Wednesday. We wish Heron Hall the best of luck.
