Heron students and teachers are moved by the muse to celebrate Poetry Week

There were plenty of budding poets at the school in recognition of national poetry day. Students were asked to pen their very own poems.

Heron teachers had earlier chosen their own poems.

There were prizes a plenty. Two members of Mr Lee’s Class 7E, Annalisa and Iqra scooped book tokens for their entries.

Head teacher Arthur Barzey was on hand to say well done to the students. Pictured here with both students.

The whole of Class 7Y then took part in a CHAT poetry podcast.
