Heron Hall Academy is seeking an ambitious and ideas-driven English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team, leveraging our inclusive ethos to inspire and motivate all students to achieve their full potential. If you have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons and are passionate about English education and making a positive impact in students' lives, we want to hear from you!

This role is ideal for a Teacher who can deliver creative and engaging English lessons that inspire and motivate students; work collaboratively with your direct team and the SLT; foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel empowered and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices across the Academy.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of working within a diverse and deprived inner-city environment is advantageous.
  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
