HR Advisor (maternity cover)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join our busy HR Central Services team on a one year fixed term basis.

The role will be to provide a proactive and responsive HR function for our Trust and act as a point of expertise for employee relation queries, providing helpful and proactive support and advice to line managers and employees on a broad range of HR policies and processes.

Working under the direction of the HR Manager and CEO, the successful candidate will be the main lead on absence management, probationary reviews, capability, disciplinary and grievances across the academies within our Trust. You will also be required to support day-to-day operational HR activities as required. You will have the opportunity to develop in the role and play your part in ensuring the well-being of all staff within the Trust.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and skilled, having substantial experience in providing outstanding HR services and working in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified or have equivalent experience of HR policies, procedures, and a good understanding of basic employment legislation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy is required.
